Roof Repair Smedway's Flat Roof Repair crews are trained on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems across Playa Del Rey, not general shingle work applied to a flat surface.
Our Flat Roof Repair technicians are trained specifically on membrane systems, not general shingle repair applied to a low-slope roof.
We also test repaired seams for a proper bond before leaving, rather than assuming a visual check is enough.
Every Flat Roof Repair technician carries current Playa Del Rey, CA licensing for commercial roofing work.
We coordinate timing to reduce impact on tenants or foot traffic wherever possible.
Membrane type and repair scope are itemized separately in every Flat Roof Repair estimate.
Hot-air welders and seam probes come standard for TPO and EPDM Flat Roof Repair work.
Most Playa Del Rey flat roof issues combine two or three of these elements, which is why a full inspection matters.
We test repaired seams for a proper bond before considering the Flat Roof Repair job complete.
We identify the membrane type first, since EPDM and TPO repairs use different adhesive systems.
We identify why water is pooling — often a low spot or blocked drain — before recommending a solution.
Modified bitumen blisters and seam issues are repaired using proper torch-down or cold-adhesive technique depending on the situation.
Clogged or damaged drains are a leading cause of Playa Del Rey flat roof ponding and membrane stress.
Rooftop HVAC units and their curbs are a frequent source of Playa Del Rey commercial roof leaks that general roofers often overlook.
We start by discussing the issue — ponding, active leak, or visible membrane damage.
A technician inspects the membrane system, checking seams, drains, and any ponding areas.
Drainage and ponding issues are assessed alongside any visible membrane damage.
Repaired seams are tested for a proper bond before we leave the site.
